Jhuri Privacy Policy

Who we are

Jhuri is a shared shopping list app for families. It is made by Pixwelz LTD ("we", "us"). If you have any question about your data, write to suman@pixwelz.com.

What we collect

We only collect what the app needs to work:

• Account details: your name and email address. Your password is handled by Google Firebase Authentication; we never see it.
• Family information: your family's name and the members of your family group.
• Things you add: shopping items, quantities, notes, places, wishlist entries and expenses (title, amount, place and date).
• Photos you choose to add: optional photos of items and an optional profile photo. They are made small and stored with your family's data.
• Notification token: a code from your phone that lets us send you family notifications, if you allow them.

We do not collect your location, contacts, or advertising ID. Jhuri has no ads and no third-party analytics or tracking.

How we use it

• To create your account and sign you in.
• To show your family's list, wishlist and expenses to the members of your family group.
• To send notifications such as "an item was added" or "shopping is finished".

We do not sell your data, and we do not use it for advertising.

Who can see your data

Only the people in your family group can see your family's list, wishlist, expenses, names and photos. Someone can join your family only with a pairing code that a member shares. Each code works once and expires after 48 hours.

We use these service providers to run the app:

• Google Firebase (Authentication and Cloud Firestore) stores accounts and family data, in Google Cloud's Singapore region.
• Expo delivers push notifications and app updates.
• Apple and Google push notification services deliver notifications to your phone.

These providers process data only to provide their service to us.

Security

All data is sent over encrypted connections (HTTPS). Security rules on our database make sure only members of a family can read or change that family's data.

How long we keep data

We keep your data while you use Jhuri. When you delete your account, your login, profile and profile photo are deleted and you are removed from your family group. Items and expenses you added to a shared family list stay visible to the remaining family members, because they are part of the family's shared list. You can ask us to delete those too.

Your choices and rights

• Edit or delete any item, wish or expense in the app at any time.
• Leave a family in Settings.
• Turn off notifications in Settings.
• Delete your account in Settings > Delete my account, or by email. See how to delete your account.
• Get a copy of your data, or ask any question, by emailing suman@pixwelz.com.

Children

Jhuri is made for families and is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children under 13. If you think a child under 13 has created an account, contact us and we will delete it.

Changes

If we change this policy, we will update this page and the effective date above.
